The Wilton Economic Development Commission - 12/06/2017

Vivian Lee-Shiue, Chairman of the Commission will share with us the goals of the Wilton Economic Commission and their progress to date.  Wilton’s long history includes finding the sweet spot between being a picture perfect residential community and a thriving business location.  Careful planning has allowed the town to maintain a quaint town center, open spaces, corporate headquarters, and many locally owned businesses. 

Kiwanis Club weekly lunch meeting is at noon on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.  All are welcome.  Lunch ($15 per person for non-members) is served at12:15 pm.  Reservations for guests should be made by calling 203-354-0208.


Wednesday Luncheon Speaker - “The Syria Fund” - 11/29/2017

The Syria Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals in need amidst the chaos that is known as the Syrian Refugee Crisis.  More than five million Syrians have fled the country and 6.3 million people are displaced internally (CNN, October 17, 2017).  The Syria Fund’s mission is to restore dignity and enrich the lives of Syrian refugees and other vulnerable families by providing critically-needed items and supporting educational programs.

 

The luncheon meeting starts at Noon. Guests are welcome, please call 203.354.0208 for reservations.

Wilton Kiwanis Club meetings are held at the Parish Hall at WEPCO, 48 New Canaan Road, Wilton, CT  06897.

Kiwanis Room at New Ronald McDonald House of CT Opens - 09/13/2017

New Haven, CT - The New Ronald McDonald House at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital was dedicated on Wednesday, Sept 13th. The new house was made possible in part by a grant from the Division 20 Kiwanis clubs of Wilton, Weston, Norwalk, Fairfield and Bridgeport.
